The original Nectar Garden was established in 1998. A new locust log perimeter
was recently created. This is a great example of a changing environment
and how we must continually adapt. Special attention to plant selection
includes plants which bloom from spring to late fall. One of
the most recognizable fall plants in the current garden is Goldenrod,
a late season food for the bees.
